About the Snow

This Week: March = Snow!
We guarantee you’ve heard this before: “March is generally our snowiest month of the winter!” Why have you heard this before? Because it’s true! March traditionally brings more snow than any other winter month. Here are some pictures from the first week of March to prove it.

Weather Report
Plenty of snow and warmer temperatures. Sounds like the perfect ski weekend. We’re not ready to announce spring skiing quite yet, but it’s certainly on the horizon. But, don’t forget: it’s still winter!
And, since it’s still winter that means that the groomers will be out in force every single night. You can expect perfect corduroy for cruising the alpine slopes and wide skate lanes for zipping down the nordic trails. If you see a groomer, be sure to thank them!
Weather, snowmaking and grooming updates can always be found on the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

Jump on a Snowmobile and Explore!
