Spring is sweet!
March is not only a great month for outdoor winter adventure, it’s also maple sugaring season. Maple Weekend in New Hampshire is March 22 and 23, so mark your calendars and plan to get out to celebrate the sweetness of spring!
During March, The Sugar Shack in the 100 Acre Wood becomes the center of activity, with lots of work, cooking, visitors, and the sweet smell of maple syrup! If there is steam rolling out of the Sugar Shack, you are welcome to step inside to learn more about one of Mother Nature’s sweetest offerings, and to take some maple treats home with you! The net proceeds of the “100 Acre Wood” Maple Syrup goes directly toward literacy programs in the Mt. Washington Valley. Plan to stop by and celebrate spring with some sweet maple syrup goodness, either on Maple Weekend, or when you are in the area this month.
