Celebrate July 4th in Conway and North Conway
We’re bringing out the parades and fireworks, and even throwing in a chili dog contest for the perfect family friendly July 4th celebration.  Here’s the schedule of events in Conway and North Conway’s Schouler Park:
1:30 p.m.:  Parade in Conway Village  (on Route 302, next to Pollard St in Conway Village)

3:30 p.m.  National Anthem sung by Kennett Middle Schooler, Robin Croce and the
Color Guard presentation by the North Conway Fire Dept.

3:45-4:30 p.m.  Tina Titzer’s Act One Dance Company

5:00-5:30 p.m.  Chili Dog Eating Contest to benefit Wounded Warrior Project

5:50-6:40 p.m.  Abby Miller Band

7:30-9:30 p.m.  Air National Guard Band of the Northeast

9:30-10:00 p.m. Fireworks

The carnival will come to Gorham, NH July 3-6, along with free concerts plus a full schedule of family events:
July 3: Bobo T. Clown and Rock Bottom Free Concert
July 4: Duck Race, Kiddies parade, Timothy Paul Band and Fireworks (9:30pm-11pm)
July 5: Chili, Chowder & Dessert Cook-off, Wayfarers free concert.
July 6: Classic Car parade and show plus more.

Concerts at Cranmore compliments of Arts Jubilee

 

Arts Jubilee is in its 32nd year presenting spectacular outdoor concerts featuring live performances on the festival stage at Cranmore Mountain Resort.  In the July E-Traveler you read about the Don Campbell and Band concert.  Here are two more you won’t want to miss.

 

July 17: Beatlemania! Beatlemania Stage Show starring Ceili Rain’s Bob Halligan, Jr as Paul McCartney! See & hear all the phases of the fabulous foursome: from the early Ed Sullivan days – -to Abbey Road – and beyond! This colorful and nostalgia packed show will be hosted by one of WMWV 93.5’s most noted voices of the valley, Mark Johnson. Kicking off the Season’s early concerts at 6 PM:  Mt Washington Valley Band.

July 31: Jonathan Edwards Trio – Barefoot and tanned, Jonathan Edwards has never looked and sounded better and of course he is known for his big hits, like “Sunshine” and “Shanty”. You may have missed him at his sell-out performance at Stone Mountain Arts Center in May, but you can enjoy him on this last Thursday in July! Early Concert at 6 PM with “Junco!”

Saturdays, July -August 23: Mountainside Music Series  at Attitash

Get ready for some free live outdoor music on Saturday afternoons at Attitash Mountain Resort. Bands are scheduled to perform from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, Attitash Mountain Resort will make the judgment call on the day of the event if it will be held outdoors on the stage or upstairs in the Attitash Main Base Lodge inside Ptarmigan’s Pub, they will never cancel entertainment.
