Harvest Festival at Remick Farm!

The Turn of Seasons

Harvest time is approaching at Remick Museum & Farm!

As the days grow noticeably shorter and the nights a bit cooler, we’re seeing tinges of color in the trees around the farm. Color changes are occurring in the garden, as well, as crops prepare for their final push of the growing season.

While our Program Team gardeners continue to stock the farm stand with fresh, seasonal vegetables, soon it will be the root and winter crops that remain. And that means one thing in particular here at Remick… Harvest Festival!

The second Signature Event of the year, our 10th Annual Harvest Festival!

will take place Saturday, September 20, from 11a.m. to 3p.m., so mark your calendars and “save the date” for this special event. A celebration of agricultural life and the historic crafts and trades that accompany it, the day is full of fun activities for all ages, interesting demonstrations, and seasonal foods. Please join us! See our web page for details: http://remickmuseum.org/index.php?page=Harvest-Festival

A reminder that our fall Schedule of Events will be available by the end of this month. And, as always, our friendly Museum Store attendants can answer questions you may have about our many activities and events.

No matter what the season, great things are happening at Remick!
