This creative retreat offers a variety of workshops hosted by experienced artisans, in addition to an artisan fair that will be held throughout the weekend. The workshops will be a mix of quick projects and opportunities to learn new skills. We always recommend that you bring your unfinished projects from home. You will be amazed at all you will learn & accomplish. The sky is the limit for what projects you decide to work on. Bring a variety of projects and get a head start on those Christmas gifts. Projects include: New England winter bird or fantasy bird ornaments Made with felt, stuffing, fabric and embellishments. Paper pieced ornaments Made with fabric on a paper pattern. Folded star ornaments or hot pads Made with a Styrofoam ball, pins,  glue and fabric. Hot-pad uses batting. Book markers: Silk ribbon and regular embroidery techniques Eye glass case: Easy to make and customize for Christmas presents Ornaments: Crazy quilted, great for scraps and easy to embellish. Fabric Holders: Great to hold Christmas cards, candy, cookies for swaps. Made from 2 fat quarters and some fusible or regular batting.
