Mount Washington Valley to help the American Cancer Society Finish the Fight Against Breast Cancer through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® event

The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk of North Conway will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Whitaker Woods Home Site in North Conway Village. This inspiring 4.5 mile walk raises awareness and funds to support the Society’s mission to help finish the fight against breast cancer.

We are welcoming folks to register on line, fundraise and then join us day of in celebration. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer participants and survivors are excited about this event and opportunity to walk. “I am thrilled that the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is taking place right here in my community. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer. Dollars raised from the noncompetitive events help the Society invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide free information and services for women who need them.

Bring all your friends and family out to be part of North Conway’s Making Strides Against Breast walk. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and opening ceremonies begin at 10:00 AM with the walk beginning immediately after.
