Ticket price is $40 per person and includes the buffet, performance, a 50/50 raffle, a small silent auction and a Chinese auction.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at North Conway Public Library. Reception-only tickets will be available at a price of $25.
The Wiz is the Motown remake of L. Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz” with lots of soul music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls and book by William F. Brown. It is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The North Conway Public Library is a privately funded library that is free and open to the public; large enough to offer a broad selection and small enough to respond to the reading needs and preferences of its users. The library receives no regular funding from the town of Conway, the State of New Hampshire, or the federal government; therefore, it depends on donations, corporate sponsors, and fundraising programs like this.
