We’re getting ready to welcome snow today and tonight. Our weather forecasters at the Mount Washington Observatory are predicting measurable snow in the afternoon and evening, just in time to add to the base already in the Valley for Thanksgiving weekend!

As we look ahead to the weekend, here is a quick trail and lift count and projected opening dates at the Valley’s seven ski resorts from this morning:
Attitash – Projected opening day is Friday, December 6.
Black Mountain – Projected opening day is Friday, December 12.
Bretton Woods – Open daily. 14 trails. 3 lifts. Base depth: 6″ – 18″. New snow in the past 7 days: 0″. Season snowfall total: 9.”
Cranmore – Open 11/28, 11/29 & 11/29. 6 trails. Base depth: 6″ – 18.” New snow in the past 7 days: 0.” Season snowfall total: 3.”
King Pine – projected opening day is Friday December 12.
Shawnee Peak – Projected opening day is Saturday, December 13.

Wildcat – Open daily. 7 trails. 1 lift. Base depth: 6″ – 24.” New Snow in the past 7 days: 3.” Season snowfall total: 11.”
