Join us for a great week of Island Fun!  Max’s will be transformed into your island oasis and no need to grab a flight.  The drinks will be fruity and backed by the unmistakable sounds of calypso and the steel drum.  Don’t forget your flowered shirt because prizes will be given for the best one!

~ Starters ~

Maple Lime Grilled shrimp

3 jumbo shrimp marinated in maple syrup, green chilies & lime zest.

Served with an avocado Hollandaise.  16

Queso Flameado

A traditional cheese & pepper fondue with chorizo pork sausage & tortilla chips.  10

Jamaican Escovitch

Fresh catch roasted & marinated in a chili vinegar dressing of peppers, onions & carrots.  Served cold with sour cream & bib lettuce.  11

Bermuda Fish Chowder

Fish, tomatoes & onions seasoned with black rum sherry pepper sauce.  10

Sweet Potato Salad

Roasted sweet potato, corn & onion tossed with tender black beans, cilantro &

roasted peanuts in a mustard dressing.  10

Caribbean Oyster Cocktail

6 oysters on the half-shell with coriander & pepper flake cocktail sauce or a lime rum mignonette.  15

Cheese Burger in Paradise

Angus beef burger with cinnamon sugar bacon, chipotle cheese gravy, pickled peppers, & avocado.  Served with Yucca fries.  17

Rice & “Peas” with Brown Tempeh

Traditional rice & dried yellow peas stewed with hot peppers, garlic, bay leaves & coconut milk, finished with tempeh that is glazed with paprika & brown sugar sauce.  Garnished with cilantro & avocado.  22

Fish Tacos

Curry batter fried white fish in two flour tortillas with red cabbage slaw, avocado, shredded cheese & sour cream.  Served with papaya au gratin & curried vegetables.  24

Lauren’s Jerked Chicken Breast

Marinated in jerk spices & coconut milk then grilled tender topped with mango chutney & pepper sauce.  Served with papaya au gratin & curried vegetables.  20

Margherita Flank steak

Rum & lime marinated flank steak, grilled medium rare with Sofrito sauce.  Served with papaya au gratin & curried vegetables.  22

Banana Leaf Braised Pork

Seasoned with a bay leaf & citrus rub, then wrapped in banana leaves, roasted in stock for 12 hours then pulled apart.  Topped with a pineapple-soy emulsion & freshly sliced avocado.
