Celebrating its opening, Sea Dog Brewing Co. hosted a ribbon cutting for the public to enjoy the restaurant’s craft brews and dining experience.
Hosted as a two-part event with the Tourism Rally, more than one hundred guests came to enjoy live music, appetizers and the fleet of hand-crafted Sea Dog Brewing Co. beer, all presented by the restaurant.
“We’re excited to be here and look forward to bringing even more visitors to the area to enjoy what the White Mountains have to offer,” Fred Forsley, owner of Sea Dog Brewing Co. said to the crowd. As a seasoned visitor himself, Forsley made note that opening a restaurant in the Mt. Washington Valley has been a dream of his since creating the Sea Dog Brewing Co. enterprise.
Being authentic is important to Sea Dog Brewing Co. Their beers are brewed in a traditional English style using only the highest quality ingredients such as English two-row malted barley and British top fermenting Ringwood yeast. Their English brewing style results in brews with a distinctive, refreshing taste and crisp finish.
The restaurant invites you to taste for yourself in its new location in the Red Barn Shopping Center at 1976 White Mountain Highway. Featuring post and beam décor with a fireplace and multi-level dining, their spacious dining room is perfect for families and large parties and the large, horse-shoe shaped bar serves 14 beers on tap, including special cask conditioned ales brewed on the premises in the nano-brewery. The menu focuses on fresh seafood and creative pub fare with new specials each week.
