Boston’s Adam Ezra Group is returning to the Theater in the Wood in Intervale, NH on Friday, July 24th at 7:30 pm. The group was named the winner of 2013 Band of the Year from the New England Music Awards. They were also winners of Song, Album and Producer of the Year for 2012. The concert is a fundraiser for the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation.
The Adam Ezra Group (AEG) is not just a band; they are a force to be reckoned with musically, personally and socially. Having toured with Rusted Root, The Wailers, The Avett Brothers, Jason Mraz, Indigo Girls, and many more, the Adam Ezra Group has graduated from the local Boston scene to the national level with a momentum that is catapulting them towards being one of the country’s most talked about bands. The theater is part of the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation and has hosted nationally known artists like Comedian Bob Marley, Jonathan Edwards, the Rustic Overtones, and international recording artists The American Rogues. Many of New England’s biggest bands have found a home at this unique venue. The 250-seat theater offers an intimate space to experience a variety of children’s events, theater and concerts.
The mission of the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation is to exercise the minds and bodies of youngsters through early literacy initiatives, education, and the engagement of healthy habits. The Literacy Foundation is a Charitable 501(c)(3) Non-Profit guided by the needs and involvement of the communities of which it serves.
The Foundation office, the Theater in the Wood and its 100 Acre Wood property are located on Observatory Way in Intervale, NH, two miles north of the Scenic Vista, directly across from Town Hall Road on the west side of Route 16.
