Bike for Books — Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015

Join us for a day of mountain biking fun in and around North Conway, NH.

Mountain bikers of all levels and abilities—from beginner to expert– will explore the varied trails and terrain along well-marked routes, showcasing some of the best mountain biking trail in North Conway and the White Mountain National Forest.

Eastside Bike Guides will mark the trails and promises a great variety of trails from easy, short rides in Whitaker Woods for novice riders and children, to challenging, technical rides for expert mountain bikers. The Valley loop for everybody in-between will travel mostly on gently wooded fire roads and flowy single track through forests and along rivers.

There is something for everyone. Participants will have fun learning new trails at your own pace, on your own or with friends.

After the ride, join other riders for a pizza lunch, hot soup, fresh coffee, and delicious homemade desserts.

Bike for Books is a fundraiser for the North Conway Library and fundraising by participants is encouraged with prizes for top fundraisers.

Day-of registration will be held on Oct. 3 from 8 – 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Woods Homesite in North Conway.

• Self-guided rides on marked trails
• Different route options for all ages & abilities:
o 2 & 4-mile easy loops in Whitaker Woods for kids & novice riders
o 18-mile Valley Loop for intermediate riders
o 27-mile Valley Loop with several technically challenging add-on loops
• Signed trails showcase the best MTB riding North Conway has to offer
• Covered Bridge snack stop with food & drink at halfway point
• Skills course
• After ride goodies include: pizza lunch, soup, delicious desserts, fresh coffee
• Mechanical support tent
• Optional fundraising with prizes for top fundraisers instead of registration fee
