Cranmore Mountain Resort is the place to be this February Vacation. With a jam-packed events schedule and extended hours, the resort has families covered for activities all week long.
Two Cranapalooza celebrations are scheduled for the week, on both Saturday, February 13th and Saturday, February 20th. Families are invited to join in the fun, starting at 2pm in Schneider Square.
The festivities will feature DJ Kris10, roaming outdoor family entertainment, dance parties with C-more the Penguin, and s’mores in Schneider Square and at the tubing hill until 5pm. There will also be face painting and crafts on the third floor of the base lodge during both Cranapaloozas, from 4pm to 5pm. On February 13th, Fireworks are scheduled for 6:30pm at the base of the South Slope.
On Sunday, February 14th, season passholders can join Cranmore President and General Manager, Ben Wilcox, for first tracks. Passholders can meet at the Skimobile Express Quad at 7:45am.
Also on Sunday, Cranmore’s retail shop, Sport Thoma, will host a demo day. Guests can try out the latest high performance equipment, plus swap out the style of ski throughout the day, from 9am to 2pm for just $20. Brands include Armada, K2, Volkl, Rossignol, Blizzard, Nordica and Head.
On both Saturday, February 13th and February 20th, guests can meet a team of Cranmore Ambassadors at the base of the Skimobile Express Quad at 10:30am for a guided tour of the mountain. Tours are designed to give guests a behind the scenes look at Cranmore.
Planned family activities will take place from 4pm to 5pm daily and s’mores will be available during non-Cranapalooza days in Schneider Square, and on select days at the tubing hill from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. A full schedule of activities for the week can be found at Cranmore.com.
All of vacation week, from February 13th through February 21st there will be après music in Zip’s Pub and Grille, featuring some of the valley’s favorite musicians. Performers include Martin England, Bill Cameron, Ben Cook and more.
Cranmore Terrain Parks will host two events during the vacation week, with the Terrain Park after Dark series on Saturday, February 13th and Jibbin’ for Jen on Sunday, February 21st. Registration information and event details can be found at Cranmore.com.
Cranmore’s Tubing and Mountain Adventure Park activities will offer extended hours for the holiday period. Activities will run February 13th to February 20th from 9am-9pm, and February 21st from 9am-4pm.
Ski area operations during the holiday week, February 13th to February 20th, are from 8:30am-6pm and from 8:30am to 4pm on February 21st. Extended hours of skiing or riding are included at no extra cost to all full day lift tickets during the vacation period.
Beyond activities, the month of February also features some savings. Guests can receive a $10 discount off tubing by presenting that day’s lift ticket, between the hours of 6pm and 9pm at the Artist Falls Lodge, February 13th through February 27th.
Looking ahead, discounted GET (Guaranteed Easy Turns) beginner lessons will be available on February 29th for just $29. Guests can purchase online or at the ticket office. On February 29th, lift tickets will be available online, in advance for $29. This lift ticket special is available through Cranmore.com only. Both $29 specials are valid only on February 29th.
