7th Annual Whitaker Woods Snowshoe Scramble Race

Whitaker Woods welcomes participants and spectators to their 7th Annual Snowshoe Scramble, a 4-mile race of groomed trails and twisty single-track. The scramble is a Granite State Snowshoe Series Event and serves as a fundraising opportunity to benefit the non-profit organization Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation.

The Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation is very active in our community providing ski experiences to Conway residents and youth in northern Carroll County school districts, free grooming for the Eastern Slope Ski Club’s after school ski program and for Kennett High School XC Ski Team’s training and inter-school races,  as well as providing educational programs for youth. This is only a sample of what the organization brings to our community, so let’s bring forth our best efforts in supporting the foundation while having some winter fun!

Bring your snowshoes, winter gear, energy, and community support to Whitaker Woods Meeting House, located at 2829 White Mountain Highway in North Conway, New Hampshire. The race begins at 10am sharp on Saturday, January 14th, 2017. Check-in time for participants is between 8:30-9:30am on the day of the race.

If you register in advance (prior to January 8th), the registration fee is $15 per person. Registration fees after this time are $20 per person. The last day for online registration is Thursday, January 12th, but interested parties may register after this date by contacting the Mt. Washignton Valley Ski Touring Foundation by phone at 603-356-9920 or by registering on race day using a personal check or cash.
