On Saturday, May 27th-Sunday, May 28th, the Friends of Jackson Public Library will host their annual book sale at the Whitney Community Center in downtown Jackson from 10AM-3PM.
The book sale is a vital fundraiser for the Friends of the Jackson Library, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit group of community members that help the library through planning, funding and hosting programs to support the library’s book budget, technology upgrades, equipment, and furnishings.
To help with this annual sale, the Friends of Jackson Library will happily accept donations of books throughout the year. They ask that interested donors please bring donations to the library during library hours and to not leave items outside or place them in the library’s book drop.
Accepted items include:
- Books, hardcover and paperback, in good condition.
No musty, mildewy or moldy books, please!
- Audio Books on CD only
- Videos on DVD or Blu-ray only
They cannot accept:
- Textbooks of any kind
- Encyclopedias or dictionaries
- Condensed books or self-help books
- VHS tapes and cassette tapes
