SAP HOUSE MEADERY TO RE-RELEASE SEASONALS IN DECEMBER, DONATE PROCEEDS TO CHARITY

Sap House Meadery is re-releasing their entire line of 2012 seasonal meads and two brand new, never released barrel-aged meads on the weekend of Dec. 15.

Sap House Meadery, out of Center Ossipee, N.H., will release seasonal meads such as: Chocolate, Peach Maple, Strawberry, Blackberry Maple and Cranberry Sage.

The meadery will also release a traditional mead which has aged 18 months, which includes several months in a medium-toast American oak barrel. On top of the traditional mead, Sap House Meadery will release a barrel-aged version of its flagship, Sugar Maple, which aged in medium-toast American oak barrels.

Quantities are limited. Everything is first come, first serve. The meadery will be open Dec. 15-16 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Two dollars of every bottle sold during the weekend of Dec. 15-16 will be used to purchase gifts for Ossipee Concerned Citizens’ The Santa Project. The program provides gifts for children of families of need.

The weekend’s events will not only feature new and rare releases, but other local vendors and craftspeople will be at the meadery. White Gate Farms, Beaver Ridge Bath and Body, Sandwich Creamery and many more will be there with various products and food.

Sap House Meadery has created award-winning, hand-crafted meads since 2010. It prides itself on only using fresh, local ingredients while using time-tested, traditional methods to make the finest mead.

Sap House Meadery Invites You To Their Special Events!

Sap House Meadery is excited to partner with a pair of New Hampshire businesses for two special events this week:

Margarita Grill, in Glen, is hosting the “Week of Mead” going through Saturday, Jan. 28. Margarita Grill will offer a tapas-style pairing all week with three plates matched with three different Sap House meads: Hopped Blueberry, Vanilla Bean and the award-winning Sugar Maple.

North Conway’s, The Local Grocer’s “Local Sustainability Celebration” on Friday, Jan. 27, from 5-7 p.m. Visitors can try Sap House’s meads, as well as other local businesses’ offerings including wine, beer, baked goods and more.

“It’s really exciting, as a business that is focused on local economy and sustainability, to get an opportunity to work with and promote other like-minded companies,” said Matt Trahan, co-owner of Sap House Meadery. “Partnerships like these are one more step toward building the local, sustainable economy that the region has such potential for.”

Margarita Grill and The Local Grocer were named “Environmental Champions” by the New Hampshire Sustainable Lodging & Restaurant Association for their efforts to be environmentally friendly. Both businesses, along with Sap House Meadery, are members of the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce.
