Sap House Meadery is re-releasing their entire line of 2012 seasonal meads and two brand new, never released barrel-aged meads on the weekend of Dec. 15.
Sap House Meadery, out of Center Ossipee, N.H., will release seasonal meads such as: Chocolate, Peach Maple, Strawberry, Blackberry Maple and Cranberry Sage.
The meadery will also release a traditional mead which has aged 18 months, which includes several months in a medium-toast American oak barrel. On top of the traditional mead, Sap House Meadery will release a barrel-aged version of its flagship, Sugar Maple, which aged in medium-toast American oak barrels.
Quantities are limited. Everything is first come, first serve. The meadery will be open Dec. 15-16 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Two dollars of every bottle sold during the weekend of Dec. 15-16 will be used to purchase gifts for Ossipee Concerned Citizens’ The Santa Project. The program provides gifts for children of families of need.
The weekend’s events will not only feature new and rare releases, but other local vendors and craftspeople will be at the meadery. White Gate Farms, Beaver Ridge Bath and Body, Sandwich Creamery and many more will be there with various products and food.
