Dining Deals in Mt Washington Valley –Feb 8-26, 2018

Skiers and riders also need great food, and with 75 or so restaurants in Mt Washington Valley, you’re sure to find something to feed every palate and every age. And with all the great snow predicted for this week …not to mention all the hard work of our snowmakers and groomers…skiers and riders are sure to work up a big appetite.

In addition, these restaurants offer great meal deals, so plan your apres ski fun accordingly!  And we’ve even added a deals on lift tickets and demo equipment to this blog this week, so be sure to read all the way through.

Meals Deals Throughout February

At Wild Rose Restaurant, Stonehurst Manor, North Conway, NH

  • Thursday night Candlelight Dinner for Two for $35 – Any two entrees on the menu for $35.  This includes their ultimate Prime Rib, Rack of Lamb, Oven Roasted Salmon and more along with any of their Fresh Pasta Offerings served with fresh Manor-made pasta. A fun way to “sample” some of the Manor offerings is to select the “Pick any two Appetizers as an Entree” option.
  • Friday Night is Pizza Night – Special 3-course dinner  is $25 per person and includes salad, a wood-fired signature pizza, tiramisu for dessert and choice of a bottle of domestic beer or glass of house wine.  Diners can choose from one of the Manor pizzas, or they can create their own with up to four toppings.
  • Afternoon Fondue – every Saturday and Sunday, holidays through the end of March and daily during Feb. vacation week – A really nice to relax by the over-sized wood-burning fireplace and choose from a classic cheese fondue or one of the other “small bites” which aren’t always so small.
  • Complimentary hors d’oeuvres – served most afternoons in Library Martini Lounge from 5 – 6 pm.

At Max’s Tavern, Snowvillage Inn, Snowville, NH

On Tuesdays: The local flavor comes out every Tuesday 5:30-9:00 PM at Snowvillage Inn: In addition to the daily menu, the locals’ menu is served, offering made from scratch comfort food, priced just right for our local friends. And on Tuesdays, no matter where you’re from, everyone’s a local at Max’s Tavern.

On Thursdays: Max’s In The Raw & the Famous Oyster Orgy! Oysters, Littlenecks, Ceviche and Crudo:  Snowvillage Inn innkeepers, Jen and Kevin, have traveled up and down the coast of Maine in search of the sweetest and largest oysters.  The goldmine is the Damariscotta River….briny, strong shell, plump meat, meaty texture with the true taste of the sea and Snowvillage Inn gets them fresh almost daily! Early bird specials start at $10.95 and are served daily from 11:30am until 6:00pm. Early bird dishes are served with homemade rolls, and French fries, onion rings or cole slaw.

At White Mountain Hotel, West Side Road, North Conway

Every Friday: Friday Night Seafood Fest in Ledges Restaurant: New England seafood specialties served directly at your table. Offerings include your choice of salad or soup, appetizers including mini raw bar, gulf shrimp cocktail and poached salmon. Entrees include orange ginger diver scallops, cod and lobster duo, smoked sugar and chile grilled salmon, shrimp scampi and classic broiled seafood platter. Sundays: Grand Sunday Brunch: A White Mountain Hotel tradition since 1990. Tap N’ A Flat Tuesdays: Every Tuesday, head to the pub for a “Tap N’ A Flat” beer and a pizza special. Enjoy your choice of cheese, pepperoni or grilled vegetable flatbread and craft draft pint from one of the taps for only $12.

All-You-Can-Eat Ribs Wednesdays: Every Wednesday, tuck in to all-you-can-eat Carolina Pork Ribs served with traditional cole slaw and french fries for $20 per person.

Tuesdays: Two One-Pound Lobsters for $26.95 from 5:00-9:00pm

Wednesday Dinner for Two Menu: Make Wednesday your date night and choose from a special two-for-$26.95 menu.  While the menu changes weekly, look for popular entrees from the menu plus a few specials too.  Two entrees from the special menu are only $26.95 (plus tax & gratuity) for both.  Click here for sample menu.

Every Thursday in January: Free Pasta Feed & Music by Kevin Dolan: Back again by popular demand the Thursday Night Free Pasta Feed starts at 5:30 pm and goes until 8:30 with music and fun by Kevin Dolan. FREE for employees of Valley Snow Sports and Ski Shops, AMC and NH Forest Service. (proof of employment required), $5.95 for skiers (bring your lift or trail ticket for that day), $8.95 if you don’t ski but just want to chow down!

Every Friday Night: Fish Fry / Oyster Lover Special: Enjoy a special fish fry along with an oyster special Every Friday Night from 5:00-9:00pm.

At Oxford House Inn, Fryeburg, ME:

Themed Food Events throughout Mt Washington Valley!

$25 Powder & Pasta at Bretton Woods – Ski or ride from 4 – 8 p.m. and replenish with a pasta dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Available Dec. 29 – March 10, as well as during the holiday periods of Jan. 14; and Feb. 18 – 22, 2018.

Feb 10:  Last Tracks with Moat Mountain, 4:00-6:00pm: Ride up the chairlift at 4:00pm.  Enjoy appetizers and a tasting of locally brewed Moat Beer with a real Moat brewer.  Afterward, ski down with headlamps on a freshly groomed trail.  $25 per person. Reservations required. 603-383-4490.

Tuesday, February 13: Black Cap Grille Fundraiser: From 5:00 – 9:00 pm Black Cap Grille will hold a fundraiser for Carroll County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Monies raised help fund mileage reimbursement for the Valley’s Meals on Wheels and Medical Transportation Programs. Join them for a great cause and great food. Ticket drop table and 50-50 raffle.

Feb 17: 8th annual Cupcake Battle: A sweet fund-raising event to benefit Mount Washington Valley Promotions, the 8th annual “Cupcake Battle” will be held Saturday, February 18 at the North Conway Community Center. Bakers will vie for the prizes in 4 categories; Professional, Home, Teen and Child. A $12 ticket entitles the guest to sample one miniature cupcake from each of the bakers and to cast a vote for their favorite in each category. Doors will be open to the public from 1 to 3:30 p.m., with tallying and awards directly following. Winners in the Professional and Home Baker categories receive cash prizes while Child winner and Teen winner receive prizes donated by local businesses. Bakers are encouraged to create an eye-catching display to go along with their cupcakes, making this a feast for the eyes and the palette. A limited number of tickets are available to this event and may be purchased from any of the participating bakers. Feb 20: Flatbread Pizza Co. Fundraiser for Arts Jubilee: North Conway’s Flatbread Pizza Company will be hosting a fundraiser in support of Arts Jubilee’s 2018 summer concerts on Tuesday, February 20th. Flatbread will donate a percentage of every pizza sold between 4-9 pm (including take-out orders). As a non-profit organization, Arts Jubilee counts on the generosity of the greater Mt. Washington Valley community in order to present their outdoor summer concert series every year. Fundraisers such as the one coming up on February 20th is just one way to support the cause.

Feb 26: Wentworth’s Ice Bar Launch: From winter-inspired cocktails to non-alcoholic beverages (including hot cocoa and other drinks to warm you up), there’ll be a little something for everybody. Next to the ice bar, you’ll find a gas fire pit and a real wood fire pit, where we Wentworth guests can gather, enjoy their drinks, warm up, and socialize. They’re even planning a seating area for roasting marshmallows—yum! They’re currently planning on launching the Wentworth’s ice bar on Friday, February 26 (weather permitting), and hope to keep the ice bar open through the first couple weekends in March. Every Wednesday throughout January at Red Parka Steakhouse & Pub: Join Jerry every Wednesday in the Pub where he gives away lift tickets to all of the great ski areas.  All you have to do is be in the Pub between 5:30-8:00.
