Steampunk and Assemblage artists Joe Keller and Heather MacLeod of Brownfield, Maine will be the featured artists in a dynamic and fun one-day event at The Cassidy Gallery in Jackson on
Keller is inspired by the early science fiction authors (such as HG Wells and Jules Verne) as well as the spacecraft featured in the Star Trek series, and meld the two together into fanciful flying machines (steam powered, of course) and lamps, featuring his expert airbrush artistry. MacLeod’s assemblages incorporate natural and industrial objects into one of a kind works of art as well as ornaments.
The artists will be on hand from 10 am – 4 pm to discuss their work. Wine and hot cider will be offered from 2 – 4pm.
Meanwhile, a preview of some of the art that will be featured at The Cassidy Gallery on Saturday.
