Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain believe that giving to the community is an essential part of its success and supports hundreds of organizations and events each year. Asked frequently to support charities of all types, Attitash and Wildcat Mountain annually support the local community and region by providing charitable contributions. Annually, they review hundreds of requests and donate accordingly with emphasis on local education and public health organizations. This past season, over $40,000 in lift ticket and season pass products alone were donated to help with those charitable fundraising efforts.

In addition to annual donations, other opportunities to help raise funds include events on and off the snow. On the snow, one example is the Attitash U Go Girl race series that helped raise $1,700 to benefit local organization Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation that provides supplemental financial assistance and other resources to cancer patients and their families in the Mount Washington Valley. Also notable this past season, Wildcat Mountain hosted its annual 100,000 Vertical Foot Challenge and participants of that were able to collectively raise over $133,000 in pledge donations to set a new event record high donation

Off the snow, Attitash and Wildcat hold an annual season passholder party at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel where attendees can enjoy complimentary food, beverages, raffle door prizes, DJ & dancing. While having fun and socializing is the primary objective to attend, one of the highlights of the annual season passholder parties has been both the silent and live auctions to benefit local organizations. This past winter, specific items and services from both Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain were designated to benefit AbilityPLUS Inc. adaptive ski program, Bartlett Recreation Department, or the Berlin Recreation Department. Some of the items included vintage trail signs, large trail maps, season passes, photos, and custom-made ski furniture donated by SkiChair.com. This year’s event saw Attitash and Wildcat season passholders raise a combined total of $7,722 to benefit the three organizations.
